He also asked not to tie his grief with politics or with someone's under-the-carpet battle.
"If it were not for my publicity, I would have been grieving silently. My friends will offer me a moral support. I ask the press to savor no details. I am going to suspend my publicity and stay with the family for a while," Popov said.
