Ukraine Army fighters destroyed modernized T-72 with Russian crew. VIDEO

Ukrainian fighters stationed at Butivka mine in the Donbas have destroyed a tank with a Russian crew that kept hitting both Ukraine Army positions and Avdiivka civilians.

As reported by Censor.NET citing Podrobnosti, the modernized Russian T-72, painted white, had its own name - "White Eagle," and was probably run by a crew of Russian army professionals.

"I think they put regular soldiers from the Russian Federation on the tanks. This machine is expensive; no one would give the one like "White Eagle" that used to come here to those mujahids," Ukrainian officer, call sign Bazalt, says.

Bazalt had been following the Russian tank's crew for some to catch it into a trap. When the "White Eagle" came to hunt again, it was hunted down by the Ukrainian army.

"We trapped it with 82 mm shells and SPG-9 into a certain area. It could not get out of it. It got on the position with full additional tanks of fuel, and it killed it. We took off its active armor with AGS, hit its fuel tanks, and it caught fire," Bazalt told the details of the tank elimination.
