The contractor "customizing" the arch suspended work until tomorrow.

"We will wait for the decision of the Kyiv City State Administration," said the contractor's representative who refused to name his employer.

The equipment involved in construction works at the arch left the site soon after.

As reported, CFC Consulting,which won the tender for providing communication during the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv planned to create an art installation called the Arch of Diversity by decorating the Peoples Friendship Arch in downtown Kyiv.
