As reported by Censor.NET, the footage covers the period between 10:58 a.m. and 5:31 p.m. with time-lapse applied to the clips between 12:33 p.m. and 3:03 p.m.; 3:05 p.m. and 4:23 p.m.; 4:27 p.m. and 4:45 p.m.; 5 p.m. and 5: 31 p.m.
Fatalities and casualties shown in the video:
Oleksandr Khrapachenko - killed at 11:28 a.m.;
Olesia Zhukovska - wounded at 11:42 a.m.;
Vitalii Smolenskyi - killed at 11:43 a.m.;
Volodymyr Melnychuk - killed at 4:50 p.m.;
The interval between 4:51 p.m. and 5 p.m. shows charred body of Volodymyr Topii in the assembly hall of the House of Trade Unions which remained there for a day and a half by that time. Warning: this fragment contains images that may be disturbing for some viewers.
Eight or nine ambulances gathered outside the building of the National Bank of Ukraine within about an hour (between 11:24 a.m. and 12:18 p.m.). The law enforcers denied their access to the wounded located at the barricade of concrete blocks. The actions of law enforcers excluded any possibility to provide assistance, for example, to Oleksandr Khrapachenko, who was just 250 meters away from the ambulances being gravely wounded. Deliberate actions to obstruct rendering first aid to the needy which led to death are equivalent to murder.
As reported, Jus Talionis event reconstruction laboratory reconstructed and substantially updated previous version of Zhovtnevyi Commanding Hill visual with the support of Censor.NET.
The previous part of Zhovtnevyi Commanding Hill can be found here.
The experts reconstructed footage of the events that took place on Kyiv's Maidan Nezalezhnosti between 6 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Feb. 20, 2014 second-by-second and frame-by-frame. The moment of murder of Melnychuk (Volodymyr Melnychuk, 39, shot dead by a sniper on Instytutska Street Feb. 20, 2014 - Ed.) who was killed at 5 p.m., was also added to the movie.
This project provides opportunity to track each person captured on camera at least once and see what was going on in every part of Maidan Nezalezhnosti and Instytutska Street at the same time. But the most important thing is that this project gives everyone a possibility to draw own conclusions about the events and who actually was pulling the trigger.
Censor.NET Chief Editor Yurii Butusov insists that Zhovtnevyi Commanding Hill is by no means a documentary intended for public viewing. According to him, it will first of all be crucial evidence during trial into attacks committed against the Maidan activists on Feb. 20, 2014.
