"Attacks are indiscriminate. They may start anytime. So we dig ourselves in. The deeper entrenchment is, the longer we’ll live," – Ukrainian marines in Donbas. VIDEO

The Russian invaders do not spare ammunition to shell the Ukrainian marines. The explosions make villages of Vodiane, Pavlopil, and Shyrokyne shiver.

As reported by Censor.NET citing TSN, the marines' positions are hit by all types of weapons, including mortar shells of various calibers, rocket-propelled grenades, and large caliber projectiles launched by the militants from the occupied villages of Sakhanka, Leninske, and Kominternove.

The combat situation at the forefront remains virtually unchanged: the marines continue repulsing the enemy attacks and holding the defense line. The soldiers strengthen their position between the attacks.

"We make entrenchments deeper and cover them to protect the guys observing the approaches from shrapnel and bullets. The deeper the entrenchment is, the longer we will live," one of the marines said.
