Despite constant rumble and spurts of fire, Ukrainian military in Pisky village near the Donetsk airport say it is relatively calm at their direction.

As reported by Censor.NET citing 5 Channel, the military believe that the Russian terrorists are thus trying to provoke them for retaliation.

The terrorists were very active last night, the soldiers say, provoking them by grenade launcher and small arms fire. The shelling lasted for almost four hours with short pauses.

"They were spraying us a bit, but in general, it is relatively calm. They fired rifles and SPGs. They fire, then rest a bit, then fire again. For four hours," a soldier of the 128th mountain infantry brigade, call sign 'Ahronom' says.
