As previously reported, anti-terrorist operation veterans dissatisfied with the channel's policy and content staged a rally outside its main office in downtown Kyiv Sept. 4. The protest turned into a fight followed by an arson attack on the building by unknown persons. A clash occurred between the channel's security and protesters with six of them having been detained.
President Petro Poroshenko instructed Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko to take the investigation of the situation around Inter under personal control.
