Earlier, MP Nadiia Savchenko went on hunger strike early morning Aug.3 as a protest against Ukrainian authorities' inactivity in the issue of prisoners' swap.

"One of the mechanisms for my release was a hunger strike against nonfeasance of Ukrainian authorities. From this day on, I again go on a hunger strike in response to inactivity of the global establishment in regards to release of prisoner Ukrainians. I will continue the strike until we see a positive result," Savchenko said.
