 OSCE drone filmed militants' mortar attack from Donetsk suburbs. VIDEO

The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) has published a video of night attacks by militants at the demarcation line in the Donbas.

Censor.NET reports referring to U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Pyatt's Twitter page.

The video shows mortar impacts in the occupied part of the Donbas, with most of them affecting government-controlled Avdiivka.

Moreover, it shows Ukrainian positions coming under mortar fire delivered from the occupied village of Spartak, outside Donetsk.

Spartak village is located 15 km south-west of the large railroad hub Yasynuvata and borders the Kyiv district of Donetsk in the south. The runway of Donetsk airport is to the west of the village. In the east, it borders Butivka Mine - one of the strongholds of Ukrainian troops.

The OSCE notes the SMM it monitors the situation in the anti-terrorist operation area 24/7. It dispatches around 90 patrols a day throughout Ukraine on both sides of the contact line.

"At night time we use various technologies - mainly, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), static cameras and other aerial surveillance. Additionally, night time observations are being conducted by SMM monitors from 14 different locations throughout conflict zone," the video footnote reads.
