Searches that started in the morning of May 12 in houses of Crimean Tatars in Russian-occupied Bakhchysarai continue.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by head of the Central Election Committee of Crimean Tatars Assembly Zair Smedliaiev on his Facebook page.
According to him, one of those Crimean Tatars whose houses were searched was taken away, possibly to a police station.

"After the search, armed people in masks have taken Abseitov Remzi away, possibly to the Bakhchysarai police office. Searches continue in other houses, and a wave of arrests could follow.
