In 2013, judge Kravets prohibited people's deputies to hold a meeting with voters inside the Kyiv City State Administration, which resulted in security forces' attempt to storm the building pursuant to that ruling. Later, the Court of Appeal overturned the decision of Kravets after which he was dismissed from the post of judge of the Shevchenkivskyi district court of Kyiv.
