"Guys, doctors, come here!" - second anniversary of Institutska Street massacre. VIDEO

Today is the second anniversary of tragic events on Instytutska Street that took place during the Revolution of Dignity in 2014. Attention! The video is not recommended for people with unstable mentality!

As reported by Censor.NET, on Feb. 18, 2014, Berkut riot police unit and interior troops completely cordoned off the government quarter in Kyiv. Security forces denied access even to Verkhovna Rada employees. The perimeter was strung with barbed wire. Hrushevskoho Street was completely blocked with large trucks. But activists, numbering not less than 10,000 people, managed to break through the cordon at the intersection of Hrushevskoho Street and Kriposnyi Alley. A bit later, Berkut arrived, firecrackers started to go off. Activists on Hrushevskoho Street set tires on fire.

In a while, at least 10 people were injured - first victims of clashes. Most of people got head wounds. One of the protesters had his hand torn off as a grenade went off nearby. The police at almost point blank distance tossed grenades at protesters, equipped with screws for additional damage.
