Volodymyr Korniets, master of sports in wrestling, is now forced to fight for what he is granted by Ukrainian law, overcoming bureaucracy and indifference of the military leadership, Censor.NET reports citing Hrechka information portal.

According to Volodymyr, all his comrades have already obtained the combatant status. Firstly, the soldier was told that no one applied for the status. Later, he found out that the commander of the unit provided state with all the necessary papers, but their fate is unknown.
Today, the 'cyborg', who risked his life to protect the integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, can not get any information about the reasons of this delay.
"I rightfully earned the status of combatant. My comrades have already obtained this status and are enjoying the benefits. I still do have neither the status nor the benefits," Volodymyr said.
The lawyers argue that Volodymyr's military unit management is responsible for the delay.
