Russian truckers set out for Moscow, threaten taking it by storm. VIDEO
Russian truckers, who are staging protests across the country, demanding the cancellation of federal highway tolls, have issued an ultimatum to the Russian authorities.
As reported by Censor.NET, they have addressed the country's leadership and demanded shutting down the tall system "Plato" before Dec. 3. If their demand is not met, truckers are resolute in bringing their heavy trucks to the streets of Moscow as early as Dec. 4.
"We pay the excise tax on fuel. It's about trillions of rubles. We pay the transport tax. But the money has never been allocated on road reconstruction, and it will never be. Because all funds just disappear," a protest participant said.
