Oct. 10, in the Syrian city of Kafranbel (Idlib province), opposition supporters held a rally where they burned Russia's flag, Censor.NET reports citing bigmir.net.
This city fell under the Russian Air Force air strikes at the beginning of Russia's campaign in Syria. "Terrorists' accomplices - Russia and Iran - support the offensive of Assad and the ISIS against the Free Syrian Army - friends of Syria! What have you done?" the inscription in the poster reads. Another poster notes that Russia's aggression in the first place affects the civilian population in Syria.
Oct. 7, the US State Department said that more than 90 percent of Russia's attacks in Syria target the country's moderate opposition and not terrorists. On the same day, Prime Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu said that only two out of 57 attacks by Russian war planes targeted ISIS positions.
