This was announced by the Interior Ministry spokesperson Artem Shevchenko on his Facebook page, Censor.NET reports.
"Haven't they called you back? Well, they will now," detained and allegedly death sick Serhii Kalynovskyi kept repeating yesterday, entertaining law enforcers who proceeded with investigative activities. It did not work. Now it is all different. Prosecutors agreed on suspicion. Therefore, Serhii Kalynovskyi, who has been fleeing justice for eight years, has been notified of suspicion of committing a crime under Part 3, Art. 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine "Violation of traffic rules, which resulted in the death of several persons," Shevchenko said.
Shevchenko adds that Kalynovskyi has been taken to pretrial detention facility, while investigators are preparing a motion to choose a restraint measure for the suspect.
"And if the Firtash's stepson then, in 2007, had not escaped the investigation with the assistance of influential defenders, he could have already come out to freedom after serving a sentence for killing two people. But the justice catches up only now. Of course, the lawyers will try to convince the judges that their client is death sick and can not go to jail," Shevchenko concluded.
