Ukrainian pilot Nadiia Savchenko told the court how "LPR" militants moved her across the Ukrainian-Russian border.

As reported by Censor.NET, Savchenko described the first hours of her stay in Russia.

She detailed how she had been transferred by pro-Russian mercenaries from the Ukrainian territory to Russia.

"When I asked them why I was brought here [to Russia - ed.], they said I was a present for the gang leader. It was weird," Savchenko said.

She said she had made no attempts of running away from the people who detained her, although she said she regretted it.

When asked who she considered 'separatists,' Savchecnko explained: "The enemy is my people who took weapons given by Russia and went to kill the Ukrainian people. Those are separatists and rebels. ... The enemy is foreigners, military who came to my land with weapons to kill my compatriots," Savchenko said.
