"On Sept 16, I resigned from the Army. I had to be paid on the same day according to the law. I have not received a penny from the Defense Ministry and the General Staff by now. Therefore, I decided to sue them, because it is against the law," he explained his decision.
Dmytrashkivskyi added that he often had to tell lies during his service, particularly on Ilovaisk events.
"When I was in the ATO, I said a lot of lies. I feel very sorry about it now. I'm struggling with the lies and I want people to know the truth. I will continue to tell the truth no matter what it takes," he said.
He added that at the time of the Ilovaisk tragedy the team of the ATO headquarters had one and a half pages of information about the events, but in the end the headquarters reduced it to three lines. "Usually it was something like: "Single attacks. No casualties," while the team who worked in the press office at the ATO headquarters knew it was not true. Everyone knew what was going on in Ilovaisk and near Saur-Mohyla. But they tried not to reveal anything on the topic to the journalists," Dmytrashkivskyi noted.

He said that the Defense Ministry seriously censors information about events in the Donbas.
"This is military negligence and it must be punished," Dmytrashkivskyi commented on the concealing of truth about the Ilovaisk tragedy.
