A large anti-submarine ship "Kerch" of the Russia's Black Sea Fleet caught fire in the bay of the occupied Sevastopol city (Crimea).

Censor.NET reports citing RIA Novosti.


"At 06:35 Moscow time (5:35 Kyiv time) the fire was brought under control. None of the military and civilian personnel were hurt as a result of the incident, " - the Russian Defense Ministry announced.

A source in force authorities of Sevastopol informed about the fire on the Kerch warship earlier. The ship is currently at a planned repair and moored at the 12th berth of the Sevastopol Bay. According to the source, the fire covered 80 square meters and was brought under control with three fire boats.

Commander of the fleet arrived on the scene. The engine room of the ship is filled with smoke.
