 Putin Made It Clear That He Does Not Want Another Transnistria And Considers Donbas Integral Part of Ukraine - Rompuy. VIDEO

During a meeting in Milan Russian President Vladimir Putin made it clear that he believes the Donbas to be Ukrainian territory.

This was stated by head of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy after the first round of negotiations, Censor.NET reports.

"During the morning meeting in a special format - "Normandy" plus - the need for the implementation of the Minsk protocol and the need for a ceasefire and elections were confirmed. Though there are different points of view on this issue, and meetings on the issue will continue, it is important to emphasize that Mr. Putin made it clear that he does not want the creation of another Transnistria and that the Donbas region is an integral part of Ukraine," he said at a briefing in Milan on Friday.
