President Poroshenko announced this on Wednesday commenting on the signing of the Minsk Protocol, Ukrainska Pravda reports.
"Ukraine has not made any concessions on the issue of its territorial integrity and state system," the president assured.
He noted that the protocol ensures "the restoration and preservation of the sovereignty of Ukraine throughout Donbas, including the territory being now temporarily controlled by the insurgents."
"I draw your attention to the fact that the Protocol does not say anything about federalization or cession of the territory. Such organizations as the so-called 'Luhansk People's Republic' and 'Donetsk People's Republic' are not mentioned in the document at all," Poroshenko said
According to him, he will lay before the Verkhovna Rada a bill on the temporary order of the local government in Donetsk and Luhansk regions next week.
"This draft provides peaceful return of these areas to the Ukrainian sovereignty. And I would ask to support it, because it will affect the future of peace process," he said.
