This was stated by Deputy Minister and Chief of Staff of the Internal Affairs of Ukraine Serhii Chebotar, Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the Ministry.
The Deputy Minister stated that the law enforcement agency is confronting policemen who betrayed the oath, particularly through being involved in corruption schemes, drug trafficking, and other offenses.

Recently we dismissed a number of policemen who were involved in corruption schemes in the Khmelnytskyi and Kherson regions. In the Chernihiv and Kharkiv regions law enforcement officers were involved in drug trafficking schemes. In the Ternopil region there was a policeman who tried to get almost 40 thousand hryvnias for closing criminal proceedings. All officers were dismissed from their positions," Chebotar said.
