Russia deployed latest surface-to-air missile systems to Crimea. VIDEO

The video has appeared online, dated as of today, which shows a Russian military train loaded with surface to air missile systems and other military equipment through Kerch train station in Crimea.

Based on information provided by person who shot the video, the 25-car train was carrying air defense missile battalion S-300 consisting of 4 batteries, which battalion had been transported a day before through the Kerch ferry crossing. This is reported by Censor.NET citing Channel 5.

Along with the surface-to-air missile systems, tank retrievers, diesel generators, and fuel tankers were spotted on the train. The train ended in Gvardiiske station near Simferopol, Crimea. S-300 is one of the latest and perfected models of the surface-to-air systems that can attack any airborne target, including supersonic jets and rockets at a range of up to 300 km away.
