INTV cites opposition leader Oleksandr Turchynov stating that early next year, the opposition will introduce a number of bills, "to ensure the cessation of Ukraine slipping in the social and economic gap brought on it by Azarov's government."
In a commentary to journalists Rada deputy and chairman of the Political Council of the United Opposition Oleksandr Turchynov said: "The opposition is preparing a major package of laws that we were promising in the election campaign. These are the laws that in the first place cancel the anti-people acts adopted by the Party of Regions and the Communists in the parliament of the VI convocation violating the Constitution."
According to Turchynov, legislative changes are complex social and economic programs, "which have already been worked out and shaped in the form of legislation. We are preparing a law that will at least to ensure the cessation of Ukraine slipping in the social and economic gap brought on it by Azarov's government and President Yanukovych."
In addition, Oleksandr Turchynov noted that the main thing for the opposition is to prevent illegal actions of gangsters in the parliament which is characteristic to the political opponents of the opposition, and the "protection of Ukrainian citizens from tyranny, from the economic, social, political risks." "I believe that the ideological principles, with which we have come to the Rada will be carried out, and our position will be proven in each committee of the parliament," he stressed.
