Censor.NET reports that according Hrytsenko, during the reign of Viktor Yanukovych the words "power" and "corruption" became synonymous.
The opposition demands the General Prosecutor's Office to provide the opportunity for Latvian law enforcement agencies to question all members of the so called Boiko Towers corruption scandal.
"If the Ukrainian law enforcement authorities do nothing, then we must do everything for the law enforcement authorities of the European Union country Latvia to have the opportunity to carry out all necessary investigations to bring the perpetrators to justice," said Hrytsenko.
He noted that the Latvian side has officially asked the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine to provide the opportunity for questioning the participants of the corrupt deal.
According to Anatolii Hrytsenko, the Prosecutor General's Office shall question the country's high-ranking officials who were aware of the corrupt deal but have not done anything to stop it.
"I personally spoke to Prime Minister Azarov and told him: 'You have not carried out an internal investigation, have not returned the stolen money in the budget, have not brought to justice those responsible thus you, and not just Boiko and Chernomorneftegaz are guilty of a crime and will go to trial," said Hrytsenko.
"We constantly hear about "predecessors". New criminal charges are brought against Yulia Tymoshenko all the time. Illegal and unfair hearings against Yurii Lutsenko continue. And here this team has stolen 2.5 billion hryvnia," said the deputy.
