The only case when the killer came under fire in response was the attempt on Adam Osmaev in Kyiv. This was the first time when the attacker was wounded and detained on the crime spot.
The attempt on Adam Osmaev was made on June 1, 2017 in Kyiv by certain Oleksandr Dakar, citizen of Ukraine, who was granted it in 2016.
Adam is in the emergency, he survived thanks to his wife.
Unexpectedly for the attacker, Amina Okueva, a volunteer fighter, ATO participant (anti-terrorist operation) who was next to her husband, managed to open instant fire in response.

On Feb. 13, 2004, in Doha, Qatar, Zelimkhan Yandarbiev was killed in a car blast. His son was gravely wounded, two bodyguards killed in the attack.
Two murderers were detained - Anatoly Yablochkov and Vasily Pugachev, Russian diplomats, officers of Russia's GRU.
On Sept. 16, 2008, in Istanbul, Turkey, Hadzhy Edilsultanov was shot dead from a gun on the street.

His killers were detained - agents of Russian secret services Ruslan Edilov (sentenced to life imprisonment), Muslim Dadaev (19 years in prison), Turpal-Ali Yeshurkayev (16 years in prison).
On Feb. 26, 2009 in Istanbul, Ali Osaev was shot dead from a gun on the street.
The killer, Russian secret services agent Temur Makhauri, was detained and confirmed there was a powerful terrorist organization created by Russian secret services in Turkey aimed at killing Chechen refugees and freedom fighters for Ichkeria.
On Sept. 16, 2011 in Istanbul, Bek-Hadzhi Musaev, Rustam Altemirov, and Zaurbek Amriev were shot dead from a gun at a parking lot.
The killer was found by the police but fled. In his hotel room, documents for Alexander Zharkov, Russian citizen, were found together with the gun used for the murder.
On Sept. 7 in Istanbul, a failed attempt on Shamsuddin Batukaev took place.
The attacker, Russian secret services agent Bakhram Batumaev, was detained. He testified against another agents who murdered other Chechens in Turkey, including Zharkov.
On May 23, 2013 in Ankara, Turkey, Medet Unlyu was shot dead from a gun in his office.
On March 4, 2015 in Istanbul, Turko Sadaev was killed by a poison that arrived in a parcel via mail. His wife and two kids were poisoned as well.
On Nov. 1, 2015 in Istanbul, Abdulvakhid Edilgeriev was killed.
He was shot dead from a gun on the street. Two killers were detained six months later, they were Russian citizens and secret services agents Yury Anisimov and Alexander Smirnov.
On May 12, 2016 in Kocaeli, Turkey, Ruslan Israpilov was shot dead from a gun at his door.
