 One law enforcer killed, two injured as police cruiser trips mine in ATO zone, National Police deputy chief says. PHOTOS

The National Police squad car triggered a mine planted by the Russian saboteurs in the vicinity of Hnutove village in the Donetsk region. One officer was killed and two others were injured in explosion.

First Deputy Chief of the National Police of Ukraine Viacheslav Abroskin wrote on social media, Censor.NET reports.

"I've just received terrible news. A police cruiser tripped an anti-tank mine planted by the militants' subversive group near Hnutove village in the Donetsk region. A police major born in 1981 died on the spot. Two more policemen received injuries and were hospitalized," Abroskin said.

He specified that the car was moving on the roadway connecting Talakivka and Hnutove.
