The Russian militants heavily shelled Marinka residential neighborhoods with mortars late Monday, Nov. 13.

Chairman of the Donetsk military and civil state administration Pavlo Zhebrivskyi wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

"Marinka District Council Chairman Volodymyr Moroz told me that the shelling lasted between 7:30 p.m. and 9 p.m.," he wrote.

Zhebrivskyi noted that observers have been operating in the Marinka since 8 a.m. Tuesday. They have been recording the consequences of the shelling: "They have recorded damage inflicted to a house on 36 Karpova Street so far. We also have unexploded ordnance reports. The State Emergency Service team verifies this information by examining the territory."
