This was announced by former officer of the 79th Separate Air Mobile Brigade, current head of Patrol Police Department of the Interior Ministry Yevhen Zhukov on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.
He wrote that in the evening of Oct. 26, 2017, a friend of the deputy commander of Patrol Police battalion in Kropyvnytskyi saw four people threatening pedestrians with a knife and trying to rob them.
"The man called his friend, police officer Denys. Denys called a crew and went out himself, as this was happening next to his house," Zhukov wrote.
He reported that one of the robbers was neutralized immediately, while other law-breakers attacked with a knife.
"As a result, two robbers were detained, two escaped, citizens are safe, Denys taken to surgery with a knife wound to his back. His life is out of danger, the kidney was not affected," Zhukov said.
