The Zhovtnevyi District Court of Poltava has ordered a two-month custody for Myrhorod City Council deputy Khachatur Khachatrian (the Radical Party) suspected of killing his colleague.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the Svoboda party press service.

"At the beginning of the meeting, the deputy (Khachatur Khachatrian) asked the court to provide an interpreter as he didn't not understand the Ukrainian language and Judge Alla Chuvanova refused to conduct the meeting in Russian. The defense asked for the suspect to be released on bail. However the court ordered to leave Khachatrian in custody," the message reads.
