This was announced by war reporter Serhii Kovalenko on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.
Major Andrii Velychko was seriously wounded in Donetsk when defending the Donetsk prosecutor's office from separatists in spring 2014, was captured by terrorists of Bezler, released, called his relatives, and went missing in July 2014 together with two civilian men and his mother. Velychko's remains were found in September 2015 between Krasnohorivka and Mykhailivka together with bodies of the other two men. Velychko's mother Iryna is still considered missing, Kovalenko wrote.
Fighters of Donbas reserve battalion of the National Guard Serhii Diatlov and Dmytro Karvan were getting out of Ilovaisk entrapment when their light armored vehicle was hit by a tank missile.
The three fighters' remains were reburied in Dnipro on Sept. 12. They were buried earlier in 2014 as unknown defenders of Motherland, but their identity was established with DNA tests later. Families of the heroes, friends, comrades, city and region leaders, clergy, and commanders came to bid their last goodbyes to the fighters, the National Guard press office reported.
