The incident occurred at Myru Avenue outside Brusnychka store.
A witness says two cars approached the store, a light-colored VAZ and a burgundy Daewoo Nexia. A man got out of one of the cars and opened fire upon people who were standing outside the store.
"The victims fled, stopped a municipal guard car, and left with them," a witness says.
Police later reported that three men were wounded in the shooting.
Police says the attacker was using a non-lethal pistol. The victims received lacerated wounds. Doctors have extracted the rubber bullets from the victims' bodies.
The victims are now in hospital. One of them, with a gunshot arm wound, has been taken to surgery center of 16th city hospital. Others have wounds to their chests, a hospital representative said.

The police is searching for the shooter.
Earlier today, in the morning of Aug. 17, an attack occurred at Zoolohichna Street in Kyiv. Unknown persons approached a man and shot him at least twice. Preliminary information says they were trying to take away his bag.
