 Rozenblat transferred half his court-arrested home to sister, - Center for Corruption Prevention. PHOTO

People's Deputy Boryslav Rozenblat, Petro Poroshenko Bloc, has transferred ownership of half of his house to sister Olena. The house has been arrested by the court.

This was announced by Center for Corruption Prevention, Censor.NET reports.

"On July 24, 2017, court arrested half of the house in Zhytomyr area owned by Rozenblat. On July 26, 2017, Rozenblat gave half of the house arrested by court to sister Olena as a gift. It's a nice try to save his net worth. We hope that the agreement of gifting the arrested property will be annulled," the CCP wrote.

Earlier, the court did not arrest $1.72 million in cash that were included by Rozenblat in his electronic income statement.

On July 7, t he Verkhovna Rada regulation committee considered the motion by Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yurii Lutsenko on providing consent to indictment, detention, and arrest of Petro Poroshenko Bloc (PPB) MP Boryslav Rozenblat, and found it well grounded. On July 11, Rada supported lifting immunity of Rozenblat.
