Censor.NET reports citing NSDC press office.
The types of presented weapons include Ukraine-made machine guns, sniper rifles, hand anti-tank grenades, mortars, modern anti-tank missile systems, and ammunition.
Turchynov said some of the weapons are to be delivered to the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the near future.
Designers and producers of the tested 120 mm mortars told the NSDC secretary that they have included all feedback by the Ukrainian military who had used this type of weapon in combat.
Turchynov said 60 mm Ukraine-made mortars have a potential to be used in the Donbas as long as it is not banned by the Minsk agreements.
Among weapon supply priorities, Turchynov said, is production and delivery of ammunition, including large caliber. For that purposes, additional financing has been allocated in the state budget for this year.
Turchynov said Ukraine's army desperately needs new weapons to defend the country in the east. He named Stuhna systems as an example.
After the testing, Turchynov and military officials from the Defense Ministry and General Staff held a meeting and discussed the issue of shortening the time between product development and delivery to the front line.
The testing was visited by military from foreign countries interested in buying Ukrainian weapons and hardware.
