President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said during his visit to the delimitation line with the occupied region of Tskhinvali in Georgia on July 19, Censor.NET reports.
"We have a common aggressor - both Ukraine and Georgia - this is the Russian Federation. As I have already said, the situation in the occupied territories is pretty similar: chaos, no hope, humanitarian disaster. What should we do to free this territory from occupation? We emphasize that it is a political and diplomatic way. For this end, we need unity of the whole world and solidarity with Georgia and Ukraine. I believe that the world is united today and Russia remains in isolation. Russia has to make steps on de-occupation of the Ukrainian and Georgian territory," Poroshenko said.
Poroshenko said this situation forces the authorities to fight for the restoration of sovereignty and territorial integrity of their states.
"One of the main goals of being here is to show these people that they are not alone. The whole world remembers them. And we will struggle to eliminate fences with barbed wire," Poroshenko said.
