 "Ukraine's dress code since independence": exhibit of most recent Ukrainian fashion history took off in Kyiv. PHOTOS

First Lady Maryna Poroshenko attended the opening of the fashion exhibition titled "IN PROGRESS. Ukraine's dress code since independence" in Mystetskyi Arsenal.

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

"This is not a fashion or clothing project. This is a project about how Ukraine has changed over 25 years of its independence. The key message of the exhibit is that Ukrainian citizens demonstrate their individuality and striving to freedom through Ukrainian clothes and national symbols, showing the world that we are Ukrainians.

"And I am certain this is the biggest achievement of Ukrainian fashion history since independence," the president wrote and published some pictures.
