Censor.NET reports citing Facebook group of the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade.
"Yesterday [June 10- ed.], the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade lost a brave soldier and a genuine patriot of Ukraine Illia Kyrychenko. The soldier was on combat duty at a strongpoint in Krymske village area. Since evening, pro-Putin illegal armed gangs were attacking the positions with the artillery, grenade launchers, mortars, and other weapons. From time to time the enemy would announce a 'cease fire,' and our fighters would agree and keep up with it. However, the enemy once again has proven that its word is worth nothing. During one of such 'cease-fires' at around 9:30 p.m., an assistant to grenade launcher firer Illia Kyrychenko went up on the parapet to examine the perimeter. An explosion followed - the terrorists launcher mortar fire. The armored vest and the helmet did not save his life this time," the message reads.
Illia Kyrychenko was 29 years old, from Zhovti Vody, the Dnipropetrovsk region. He hasn't served long in the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade but was a respected soldier among his comrades.
