It took police some time to document the crimes the group was committing, but today, as one of the victims was handing over 10,000 hryvnia ($385) to the criminals, they were detained.
All four of them are unemployed residents of Bakhmut, born in 1998 and 1994. The men decided to earn some 'cheap money.' They would pick a victim and threaten him or her with violence and bodily harm unless a 'compensation' was paid to them.
Investigation continues. The detainees face up to seven years in prison.
