Censor.NET reports citing Shevchenko on Facebook.
Shevchenko wrote that the Podil shooting was an enemy attempt on lives of patriots of Ukraine, participants of the war in the Donbas who defended Ukraine at the frontline back in 2014, Kyiv-2 police battalion members Adam Osmaev and Amina Okueva.

His wife Okueva, to protect herself and repulse the attacker, opened fire and gravely wounded the killer. Both men have been taken to hospital with grave wounds, Shevchenko reported.
Later, RBK-Ukraine published exclusive information from the crime site. The website reported that Adam Osmaev, who is accused of an attempt on Vladimir Putin in Russia, and wife Amina Okueva agreed for an interview with some Alex Verner from Le Monde, to take place at Kyiv's Kyrylivska Street.
Okuev was accused of attempt on Putin in March of 2014. He then asked for Ukrainian citizenship and fought as a volunteer in the Donbas.
