Seregin wrote in his social media account, Censor.NET reports citing Chetvertaia Vlast.
He cited "giving up the idea of Novorossia" as a reason behind his shift. After three years of fighting for the self-styled republics, the mercenary did not receive what he wanted.
He said "DPR" and "LPR" failed to become people's states.
He wrote he was refusing all his awards received from the self-styled states and called the "leaders" of the "DPR" and "LPR" criminals.
"I see current authorities of 'DPR' and 'LPR' as criminals and have nothing to do with them!" the mercenary wrote.
The guy has fought in the 'republics' for three years now, the website reported.
Seregin was born in St. Petersburg. It could be assumed from the photo below, that he had been trained in Crimea prior to being sent to the Donbas.
He had first served in a unit headed by some of Mozgovoy's gang leaders.
He subsequently moved to "Republican Guard of 'DPR'."
The mercenary did not explain why he changed his mind of the 'republics' he had been fighting for so long.
