As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by Levy Block coordinator, journalist Vladislav Ryazantsev on his Facebook page.
"The North Caucasus military district court has sentenced Crimean Tatar Ruslan Zeitullaiev to 12 years in high-security penal colony. Zeitullaiev is charged with organizing a Hizb ut-Tahrir unit in Crimea."
More than 20 people came to support Zeitullaiev, Ryazatsev wrote.
He later added that the prisoner has announced he would stop his hunger strike after 22 days.
As reported, Zeitullaiev went on hunger strike April 4, protesting against crackdown on all Crimean Tatars on the peninsula. He also demands to stop criminal proceedings against him and Crimean Tatars Primov, Seifulaiev and Vaitov, and grant the consuls permission to visit him.
Zeitullaiev, Seifulaiev, Vaitov, and Primov earlier received prison terms. Zeitullaiev was sentenced to seven years in prison, but the prosecutors appeal against this decision requesting to increase his term to 17 years.
