The participants practiced measures to stop group violations of public order, performed fire and rescue drills as well as actions to be taken during the arrival of official delegations and those aimed at unblocking roads and releasing hostages captured by potential terrorists.
According to First Deputy Interior Minister Serhii Yarovyi, the drills are intended to raise the preparedness of personnel and readiness for all situations that may arise. The exercise was also attended by international trainers.
As reported, 16,000 employees of the National Police, National Guard, State Border Guard Service and State Emergency Service will ensure law and order at this year's Eurovision Song Contest.
