They were posted by a blogger with nickname Stanislav Vasin on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.
Vasin walked along Donetsk central streets and places that were swarming on weekends before 2014. Now they are empty, he reports.
Numerous premises have been put up for lease, some of them - since 2015, Vasin wrote.
"The city is dead," "So clean, and no people," some of the users' commentaries read.
Others compare it to occupied Crimea and Sevastopol, as well as Prypiat, the seat of the Chornobyl nuclear plant.
