 Monument to bus passengers killed in Grad attack unveiled in Volnovakha. PHOTOS

A monument to 12 bus passengers killed in a Grad attack on Jan. 13, 2015 has been inaugurated in Volnovakha.

Donetsk region governor Viacheslav Abroskin said on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

"Volnovakha, Jan. 13, 2017. No matter how much time will pass - five,10, 50 years - the killers will be identified and punished They will certainly be held accountable for their actions. Eternal memory to those who died at the hands of terrorists, Russian mercenaries. And we will honor them forever in our hearts," Abroskin wrote.

Two years ago, on the Slaviansk-Donetsk-Mariupol highway, a Grad missile fired by terrorists killed 12 passengers of a Zlatoustivka-Donetsk bus. 18 others were wounded.

The fatalities included civilians from Volnovakha and its neighborhood, Donetsk Dokuchaievsk, Makiivka.
