Oksana Sokolovska, former lawyer of Russian commando Yevgeny Yerofeev, wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.
"Well, friends, we can breathe a sigh of relief. The dead man is obviously not Serhii Fedosenko for several reasons: Firstly, the body of an unidentified male looking like Serhii was found July 22, 2016 while the image with Serhii was posted by his friends on Aug. 11, and Aug. 21, 2016; Secondly, when I was identifying the body with the help of additional images, it became clear for me that it was not Serhii; Thirdly, perhaps Serhii, as a man of many eccentricities dreaming of applause, is just waiting for the emotionally charged atmosphere for his marvelous apparition. Among other things, Fedosenko's mother told the investigators that her son called her on the New Year. I think of the pressure on the witnesses or material incentive as an option. So you can make your own conclusions, gentlemen," she said and posted photos showing Fedosenko.
Sokolovska previously said that she had identified the body found in Odesa as her assistant Serhii Fedosenko.
As reported, Sokolovska reported her assistant Serhii Fedosenko missing Oct. 31, 2016. He was a witness in the case of murder of lawyer Hrabovskyi, who defended one of the two Russian commandos Alexander Aleksandrov. Hrabovskyi went missing in early March 2016. Sokolovska's aide Fedosenko was in Hrabovskyi's office when the lawyer came there accompanied by unidentified persons on the next day after his disappearance. Hrabovskyi was later murdered. Two suspects in his murder were detained by the end of March (Shevchenkivskyi district court of Kyiv now hears the case into murder of Hrabovskyi in camera).
March 29, 2016, Main Military Prosecutor of Ukraine Anatolii Matios published video showing Hrabovskyi saying allegedly under the influence of some drugs that he refused to defend Alexander Aleksandrov.
Alexander Aleksandrov and Yevgeny Yerofeyev were captured in the battle near Shchastia, the Luhansk region, in May 2015. They confessed to be members of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (GRU). The servicemen were charged with committing a terrorist attack that caused death of Ukrainian soldier Vadym Puhachov.
Holosiivskyi district court of Kyiv sentenced them to 14 years in prison. Yerofeyev and Aleksandrov were subsequently swapped for Nadiia Savchenko.
