As reported by Censor.NET citing LІGA.net, hundreds of people from across Ukraine attended the event. They came holding flags of Ukraine and the European Union.
The meeting was held under the slogan "This Rada's last winter." The organizers handed out leaflets with "Rada's 100 broken promises" and "Our demands" sections.
Participants' requirements include the prohibition of political advertising on television, removal of the secret moratorium on the registration of parties, and replacement of the head of the Central Election Commission.
People also demand to ban those who voted for the infamous "dictatorship laws" on Jan. 16, 2014 from taking part in elections, abolish the majority voting system, and prohibit parliamentarian truants and "piano players" to be re-elected.
Earlier, Saakashvili and his political allies announced the establishment of a new political movement called Rukh Novykh Syl.
