Censor.NET reports citing the press office of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
The technical assistance is part of the second stage of the European Union-funded project 'Strengthening Surveillance and Bilateral Coordination Capacity along the Common Border between Belarus and Ukraine' (SURCAP). The project is being implemented by the International Organization on Migration (IOM).
In particular, the State Border Guard Service received 25 Volkswagen Amarok Pickup Trendline SUVs, six Volkswagen T6 Kombi vans, 45 Enduro PR4 motorcycles, 10 Outlander L Max 570 DPS ATVs, 30 Archer TGX-8/75-640 thermal viewers, four sets of Defendec wireless monitoring system and nearly 70 pairs of cross-country skis.
The equipment handover was conducted in Zhytomyr.
