Censor.NET reports citing the statement by the ATO Staff press center.
The spot report reads: "The anti-terrorist operation forces neutralized Orlan-10 (tail number 10332) drone of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation near the village of Melekine in the Pervomaisk district of the Donetsk region at 5 p.m. Nov. 6, 2016.
"Analysis of the data from the hard drive that was not deleted by the UAV operator showed that this UAV accomplished no less than four missions to develop defensive lines of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Mariupol direction between Aug. 20, 2016 and Nov. 6, 2016. More than 500 pictures were discovered on the UAV's hard drive.
"The UAV was launched from the base located 17 km to the west of Yeisk village in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation," the statement reads.
"The Orlan-10 drone discovered within the Ukrainian maritime belt in the Sea of Azov that reconnoitered Ukrainian Army positions once again confirms that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation directly support criminal activities of the militants and directly take part in the military conflict in Ukraine's east.
"Positions of the ATO forces' detachments on the outskirts of Shyrokyne, Vodiane, and Talakivka came under accurate shelling by the illegal armed groups when the Russian Orlan-10 was carrying out a mission there Oct. 10, 2016. The mortar and artillery strikes were committed from the areas near Sakhanka, Kominternove, and Zaichenko villages.
"More than 215 militants' shells hit the ATO forces' positions between 08:20 a.m. and 11.30 a.m. Oct. 10, 2016. Two Ukrainian soldiers were killed, six were injured. The accuracy of the attacks confirms that the Russian army developed our positions and adjusted artillery fire," ATO Staff press center said.
