The Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine (PGO) has detained a man who attempted to bribe a PGO investigator into closing a case and returning 200 kg of amber.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko on his Facebook page on Thursday.

"The fish is caught in the evening as well. We have just detained a man who attempted bribing a PGO investigator into closing his case and returning 200 kg of amber. The ringer will now account for the amber and for the bribe," Lutsenko said.

The amount of bribe was $30,000.
