Yana Goncharova, the coordinator of Russia's human rights project RosUznik (Russian prisoner), has visited Ukrainian reporter Roman Sushchenko who was illegally apprehended in Moscow.

"We've got first news from detained Ukrainian journalist Roman Sushchenko. He is cheerful and looks fine. He is asking for a towel, plastic cases for soap and toothbrush, Metrogyl Denta gel and MGTS 3000 top-up vouchers. And, of course, write him letters," Goncharova said.

"Hello, dear Iryna! First of all, I want to thank you for your participation, support and willingness to help. Frankly, your letter was the first one and unexpected. Thank you. I'm in a good mood and feel no despair but confidence in my right. I don't lose hope and believe in the successful outcome of my story, although not so fast as it may seem...," Sushchenko's letter reads.
